Responsibilities
- Own the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for Payment Rails.
- Build and scale complex distributed systems for high-volume payment traffic.
- Drive an AI-first approach to engineering workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead scaling initiatives and define the technical direction for money movement.
- Raise the engineering bar through mentorship and process improvements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience building payment systems or high-volume transactional systems.
- Demonstrated track record of architecting fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Platform-builder mindset with experience in creating reusable platforms.
- Strong operational excellence and experience in incident response.
- Collaborative leadership skills with a history of influencing across teams.
- Ability to responsibly use generative AI tools in workflows.
