Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable .NET services and APIs for commerce and payment capabilities.
- Deliver payment gateway integrations and regional payment method support.
- Plan, design, develop, test, maintain, and support services within the assigned domain.
- Advocate for non-functional requirements and cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate across teams and contribute to technical decisions and platform architecture.
- Coach and mentor engineers at various levels.
- Contribute features to a customer-facing application in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience with C# and .NET Core for web application development.
- Proven experience designing, creating, and consuming APIs.
- Proven experience with relational databases and Entity Framework Core.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming best practices, Docker containerisation, and web security principles.
- Proven experience designing and operating microservice architectures.
- Clear communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: ability to create and explain architecture and produce ADR/RFC documentation.
- Preferred: experience with commerce systems and payment providers.
- Preferred: knowledge of Zuora development.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, Secrets Manager or another cloud provider, and background services.
- Preferred: foundational knowledge of Angular.
