Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs for the Supply Chain Control Tower.
- Develop resilient, scalable, maintainable enterprise applications with a strong focus on backend design and unified data architecture.
- Design and implement data movement patterns and backend systems connected to React frontend components through a Node.js Backend-for-Frontend layer.
- Contribute to foundational, zero-to-one platform builds, architectural decisions, planning, prioritization, and estimation.
- Support disaster recovery, capacity planning, performance and regression testing, chaos testing, observability, alerts, dashboards, and recovery runbooks.
- Apply engineering standards covering code quality, test coverage, authentication and authorization, and iterative development processes.
- Mentor engineers, evaluate new enterprise technologies, simplify solutions, remove bottlenecks, and resolve escalated technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement where applicable.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience on projects implementing solutions through software development life cycles and iterative development.
- At least 2 years of experience with frontend technologies, middleware, database technologies, or DevOps.
- Preferred experience writing technical documentation and developing and implementing business systems within an organization.
