Responsibilities
- Build and enhance generative and agent-based AI capabilities, including model integrations and product features.
- Analyze and improve data and retrieval systems for AI features with emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Design, develop, and maintain Java and TypeScript backend services and APIs within a microservices architecture.
- Deploy and operate cloud-native applications on AWS using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Write tested and documented code, troubleshoot existing systems, and optimize reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, data science, and product teams across multiple locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with backend systems using TypeScript, Node.js, and Nest.js.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs.
- At least 5 years of experience with microservices and distributed architecture.
- Experience delivering production-grade software and deploying AI-powered product capabilities.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Java backend development is preferred.
- Experience developing applications with Django is preferred.
