Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop cloud-based solutions that meet regulatory needs and deliver customer experiences.
- Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools and services.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Identify improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt, refactor systems, and improve performance.
- Influence long-term technology strategy and mentor members of the engineering community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, excluding internship experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred experience includes 7+ years coding in multiple listed languages, 3+ years with databases and cloud technologies, and 4+ years contributing to open-source frameworks.
- Preferred qualifications include front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing frameworks, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred experience includes mentoring engineers, using observability to optimize distributed-system performance, leveraging AI-based coding tools and IDE copilots, and leading cross-functional engineering initiatives.
- Preferred experience includes establishing coding standards and design patterns across teams.
