Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies and ML test harnesses for AI inference accelerators.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks, test plans, and CI infrastructure using Python and Shell scripting.
- Perform embedded software development, debugging, functional testing, system validation, regression testing, and release qualification.
- Validate hardware/software interfaces including PCIe, DMA, memory, and peripheral subsystems.
- Support firmware, runtime, compiler, and inference software stack integration and workflows.
- Onboard, validate, and optimize open-source AI models on accelerator platforms.
- Conduct end-to-end system integration, feature validation, reliability validation, and Go/No-Go quality assessments.
- Define workflows with firmware and application software stakeholders and drive software quality best practices across teams.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related experience; or a relevant master’s degree plus 1+ year; or a relevant PhD.
- At least 1 year of work or academic experience in software or system testing, including automated test plans or tools.
- Strong Python and Shell scripting experience for test automation and infrastructure development.
- Experience with C/C++ software development, debugging, and testing on embedded platforms.
- Experience developing automated test frameworks and Development Integration Testing solutions.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git/Gerrit, build automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of SoC architecture, memory hierarchy, interrupts, power management, multithreaded programming, PCIe, DMA, and peripheral subsystems.
- Understanding of ML software ecosystems, deep learning, transformer architectures, LLM serving KPIs, AI inference runtimes, compilers, model onboarding, and deployment workflows.
- Experience with open-source AI/ML models and frameworks such as Llama, DeepSeek, Qwen, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe and LPDDR, plus ECC, PCIe AER, RAS, and reliability validation.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in software quality, validation, automation, and release readiness.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across global cross-functional teams.
