Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust software services.
- Build reusable libraries and components for the Data Integration team and researchers.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to shape and implement data framework features.
- Develop and expand the data platform and new data pipeline framework.
- Provide reactive support to users of the services.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expertise in programming, system design, and architecture.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with Rust is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with data lakes and data lakehouses, including technologies such as Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, and Snowflake.
- Familiarity with columnar dataframes, data governance, data lineage, and metadata.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Fluent English.
- Prior financial data experience is beneficial but not required.
