Responsibilities
- Assess AWS and Azure security framework compliance gaps and deliver a prioritized remediation roadmap.
- Build an IAM maturity roadmap covering least privilege, centralized oversight, federation, RBAC, ABAC, and privileged access management.
- Translate security and IAM requirements into production-grade Terraform modules and Python/PowerShell automation.
- Serve as the cloud security subject matter expert in architecture reviews and change advisory processes.
- Mentor Cloud Operations and Engineering teams on secure defaults and security-aware decision-making.
- Lead cloud security incident response from detection through resolution and drive post-incident corrective action.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cloud security, infrastructure security, or security engineering.
- Deep hands-on experience across both AWS and Azure.
- Experience implementing security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, or SOC 2 at scale.
- Strong IAM design and implementation experience, including SAML, OIDC, RBAC, ABAC, and privileged access management.
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for security automation and hands-on Terraform experience.
- Experience translating security requirements into infrastructure-as-code guardrails integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building or maturing a risk-based or IAM program from an early or fragmented state.
- Experience leading security incident response and post-incident remediation.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present security strategy to engineers and executive leadership.
