Responsibilities
- Set and drive technical direction and architecture for the NHI Governance domain.
- Own complex, high-risk technical initiatives from problem identification to delivery.
- Define standards and interfaces for multiple teams and products.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to align technical and business goals.
- Mentor staff and senior engineers to improve organizational technical capabilities.
- Lead design reviews and make architectural trade-off decisions.
- Ensure quality, security, observability, and performance are prioritized.
- Resolve ambiguity and frame the right problems to be solved.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in architecting large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems.
- Expert programming skills in C#, Go, TypeScript, Java, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools for high-velocity software development.
- Proven track record of owning architecture across multiple teams or domains.
- Strong AWS expertise in designing and operating production applications.
- Experience with CICD and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with data modeling and visualization at scale.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to drive technical clarity.
- Excellent communication skills to influence technical direction.
