Responsibilities

Engage actively in the DataHub Slack community by answering technical questions and fostering positive interactions.
Create compelling technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, and videos to educate users about DataHub's features.
Deliver impactful technical presentations at conferences and community events to promote DataHub.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate technical concepts into clear content.
Develop and maintain example projects and resources to help developers succeed with DataHub.
Identify opportunities to improve DataHub's developer experience and advocate for user needs.
Partner with marketing to build campaigns that attract new developers and increase community engagement.

Previous experience in a Developer Advocate role in the metadata or open source ecosystems.
Hands-on experience using DataHub with expertise in data engineering and metadata management.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for simplifying complex concepts.
Proven experience creating technical content such as blog posts and video tutorials.
Comfortable speaking at events and leading workshops.
Experience contributing to open-source projects and engaging with technical communities.
Empathy and patience to help developers of varying skill levels succeed.
Familiarity with data ecosystems like Apache Kafka, Spark, dbt, or Airflow is a plus.
