Responsibilities
- Develop object-oriented Python and Bash scripts and tools for operational automation and REST API data processing.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and the DevOps toolchain using GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Deploy, manage, and upgrade Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
- Troubleshoot production environments and conduct monitoring, alerting, log analysis, root-cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
- Apply security best practices, patching, and hardening in DevOps environments.
- Use AI-assisted tools for scripting, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Improve platform reliability and share AI-assisted development and automation practices across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing object-oriented Python and Bash scripts for automation and operational tasks.
- Experience processing and integrating data through REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, containers, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience deploying, managing, and upgrading Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, log analysis, root-cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of security best practices, patching, and hardening within DevOps environments.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT for scripting, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Preferred: experience driving root-cause analysis, implementing permanent production fixes, improving monitoring and alerting, and sharing AI-assisted development practices.
