Responsibilities
- Design and provision AWS infrastructure for containerized and serverless services.
- Implement reproducible infrastructure-as-code environments for development, QA, staging, and production.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for .NET and React applications with automated testing, security scanning, and promotion gates.
- Apply least-privilege IAM, manage secrets, and secure public-facing endpoints and webhooks.
- Deliver logging, metrics, dashboards, alerting, and other observability capabilities.
- Own deployment strategy, rollback processes, and production releases.
- Produce runbooks and handover documentation and maintain AWS cost visibility.
- Interact with the client daily in written and spoken English.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, including at least 4 years running production workloads on AWS.
- Hands-on experience with ECS/Fargate, Lambda, SNS/SQS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
- Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for .NET and Node/React applications using Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
- Strong Docker and containerized deployment experience.
- Knowledge of secrets management, cloud security fundamentals, logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Excellent written and spoken English for daily client interaction.
- AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Professional certification is preferred.
- Experience hosting Shopify apps or webhook consumers is preferred.
- High-availability design experience for latency-sensitive e-commerce services is preferred.
- Security hardening experience is preferred.
- AI-assisted infrastructure and pipeline development experience is preferred.
