Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Corestream, Kharon’s risk intelligence feed.
- Redesign semantic search using BM25 tuning, semantic distance, RAG, and reranking.
- Integrate graph-based risk analysis outputs into search results and sub-network exploration.
- Drive the narrative generation pipeline that converts graph and analytical data into written intelligence.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on the Corestream roadmap and independently drive initiatives.
- Optimize metrics for search quality and narrative relevance.
Requirements
- Have a proven interest or experience in global security, financial crimes, sanctions, export controls, or related domains.
- Have 3+ years of experience in a Data Science or AI Engineering role.
- Have hands-on semantic search experience, including BM25, vector search, reranking, and retrieval evaluation.
- Have experience with RAG pipelines and production agentic systems.
- Be proficient in Python and SQL.
- Demonstrate strong product alignment and the ability to own tickets and drive initiatives independently.
- Experience with graph-aware search or integrating knowledge graph outputs into retrieval systems is a bonus.
