Base Salary
$192k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on business and technical domains.
- Lead the planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams.
- Own medium to large features or infrastructure projects from technical design through completion.
- Collaborate with partners, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problems.
- Lead and mentor engineers and engineering teams, improve technology, apply best practices, and set team direction.
- Ensure delivery of large or complex technology capabilities within or across team domains.
- Facilitate collaboration, identify project risks, and mitigate risks to deliver on time.
- Drive outcomes for functional-group and organization-wide projects.
- Influence technical and product roadmap prioritization and process enhancements.
- Identify and reduce failure domains, build software that minimizes maintenance and failure impact, and guide Service-Level Objectives for owned systems.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years leading cross-pod or cross-company deliverables.
- At least 5 years leading technical contributions and improving team output quality.
- At least 5 years applying computer science concepts in a team setting.
- At least 5 years setting and enforcing standards for stable, correct, and maintainable code.
- At least 5 years leading technical teams, including mentoring and training junior engineers.
Benefits
- Hybrid Los Angeles work schedule requiring three days in the office per week, with Thursdays required and two additional flexible office days.
- Base pay of $192,000-$252,000 per year, plus employee benefits, equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
