Responsibilities
- Design, write, execute, and maintain automated tests and test scripts across application layers.
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks using xUnit, NUnit, RestSharp, MS Playwright, C#, and TypeScript.
- Create test plans, procedures, cases, execution plans, and documentation for functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, UAT, and API testing.
- Maximize coverage of critical features and determine test-scenario priorities.
- Analyze test results, debug errors, log and track defects, and own defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure business requirements and critical scenarios are covered.
- Establish, measure, and control test strategy, risk, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Set up continuous integration and support testing for maintenance implementations using DevOps principles.
- Coordinate and support UAT with business users.
- Continuously improve the automation framework and testing process and share testing knowledge with the broader team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of automation-testing experience with xUnit, NUnit, MS Playwright, and RestSharp.
- At least 6 years of experience in the testing competency.
- ISEB or ISTQB qualification.
- Solid experience implementing the Software Testing Life Cycle, including test planning, monitoring and control, analysis and design, execution, and closure.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines and Octopus.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB.
- Extensive experience with API testing, REST, and SOAP.
- Mobile-testing experience is an additional benefit.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
