Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, monitor, and maintain software applications and cybersecurity systems.
- Integrate application security testing and controls into the software development lifecycle and provide secure coding guidance.
- Conduct secure code reviews, automated testing, vulnerability analysis, threat research, and cybersecurity technology evaluations.
- Implement encryption and security controls for sensitive data and AI-enabled applications and workflows.
- Apply AI-enabled security tooling, automation, observability, and prompt engineering to cybersecurity activities.
- Create technical documentation and reports covering security assessments, findings, remediation, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product teams, and cybersecurity partners across application, API, cloud, container, and CI/CD environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or comparable experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, security standards, application development and security, data engineering, cloud security, data privacy, and data security management.
- Knowledge of Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting for security automation.
- Knowledge and experience with distributed systems, algorithms, object-oriented design, software development, automated testing, and relational databases.
- Knowledge of AI security concepts, including generative-AI risks, model integrity, prompt security, and sensitive enterprise data protection.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, webhooks, asynchronous API design, Java, Spring, Python, Django, React, Node.js, Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- At least one security-related certification and one developer-related certification are preferred.
