Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack and user-facing software across projects, including software for embedded and custom hardware devices.
- Maintain and update existing software systems in collaboration with established teams.
- Develop network data transport technologies and pipelines using commercial and custom components, including cloud architectural components.
- Architect, test, secure, and integrate cloud services, storage services, internet transport services, and VPN technologies.
- Develop network capture, testing, and analysis systems to validate security assumptions and create repeatable testing plans with test engineers.
- Port and refactor code between languages, tune performance, integrate encryption systems, and design software architectures.
- Produce software designs, estimates, and schedules for program and project management.
- Perform code reviews, use revision control and build processes, test software, and investigate root-cause failures.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of full-stack software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience developing networked systems, cloud infrastructure, secure communication systems, or similar.
- Experience working in constrained development environments, including air-gapped systems.
- Strong skills in C, C++, Python, and C#.
- Experience implementing documented network and communication protocols or cryptographic systems.
- Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases quickly.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph that can be maintained.
- Preferred: 5+ years building end-to-end networked systems and applications, hands-on network security experience, and a strong security focus.
