Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain reusable components and tools for a distributed eventing platform.
- Build and support secure libraries that provide event publishing and consumption, command-pattern capabilities, and schema registration.
- Abstract underlying technologies, hide complexity, and facilitate inter-service communication for application teams.
- Operate supporting infrastructure to ensure high availability, manage capacity, and respond appropriately to incidents.
- Participate in feature definition, effort estimation, milestone-based prioritization, stakeholder collaboration, and on-call support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a software development role.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, C#, the .NET framework, microservices, and distributed architectures.
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration engines such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience with technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, and NATS.io; Go experience is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and fluency in French and English, both verbally and in writing.
