Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, resilient Java Spring Boot microservices and scalable web applications.
- Develop Angular and AngularJS frontend features with state management, modular architecture, responsive design, and accessible user experiences.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for reliable internal and external application integrations.
- Configure and optimize AWS Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, and related cloud services for application deployment and operations.
- Design and manage SQL and Oracle SQL data models, schemas, queries, and performance tuning.
- Use GitHub branching, code reviews, and pull request workflows to maintain source quality.
- Implement automated unit and integration tests and troubleshoot production incidents through root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with product and business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions for consumer lending objectives.
- Mentor junior engineers through code walkthroughs, pair programming, and constructive feedback.
Requirements
- Extensive experience building distributed systems and complex business applications with Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Hands-on Angular and AngularJS development experience, including state management, modular architecture, and responsive design.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, request validation, error handling, and secure access patterns.
- Practical experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, S3, and RDS.
- Advanced SQL and Oracle SQL skills covering data modeling, query optimization, and tuning.
- Experience working with agile development practices in a hybrid work model.
- Familiarity with consumer lending or financial services processes is preferred.
