Base Salary
$136k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Execute security assessments and code reviews for HR and Legal applications.
- Contribute to application threat models with guidance from senior engineers.
- Author and refine automated detection rules that identify risks at code commit.
- Support development teams in adopting secure-by-default infrastructure.
- Investigate security findings, validate impact, and drive remediation with builders.
- Contribute to security automation and tooling that reduces manual effort.
- Document security work and communicate risks clearly to engineers and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation.
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent experience.
- Experience solving basic problems by writing code or scripts with some assistance.
- Preferred experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
