Base Salary
$220k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own Android growth surfaces across installation, activation, onboarding, lifecycle messaging, conversion, retention, and paid upgrades.
- Lead experiments end to end, including hypothesis development, instrumentation, implementation, analysis, and rollout.
- Build flag-driven and server-driven patterns to support experimentation without waiting for app-store releases.
- Own in-app purchase and paywall experiences, including billing integrations, subscription and credit purchases, entitlement correctness, and pricing experiments.
- Develop push and lifecycle notification experiences with permission prompts, targeting, timing, deep links, and retention instrumentation.
- Partner with web, iOS, design, Product, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and Mobile teams to create consistent cross-platform experiences.
- Optimize app-store performance and attribution and monitor metrics including activation, retention, notification engagement, and paid conversion.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional mobile engineering experience shipping consumer Android apps at meaningful scale.
- Strong native Android skills with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience owning a full mobile release cycle, including build and release tooling, phased rollouts, store review, crash and regression monitoring, and safe rollbacks.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation platforms such as Eppo, Statsig, Optimizely, or equivalent systems.
- Ability to pull, segment, and interpret funnel data and make data-informed product decisions.
- Strong product judgment, execution, ownership, and ability to ship multiple experiments and improvements in parallel.
- Genuine interest in and adoption of AI products.
- Preferred experience on growth or experimentation-heavy teams, with in-app payments, mobile attribution and measurement, paid mobile acquisition, ASO, backend or web development, or fast-growing startups.
