Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services for AI agent orchestration and execution.
- Develop scalable APIs and platform capabilities for workflow orchestration and state management.
- Build reliable infrastructure for long-running, distributed AI workflows.
- Collaborate with product, research, and platform engineering teams to implement new capabilities.
- Enhance platform reliability, observability, and performance as workloads scale.
- Evaluate and improve technical architecture and developer tooling.
- Maintain high software quality through testing and proactive management of technical debt.
- Mentor engineers on best practices in system design and backend engineering.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in building scalable backend systems using Go, Python, Rust, or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience in designing and operating production services at scale.
- Hands-on experience with backend platforms, developer tools, or infrastructure products.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to lead large technical initiatives from architecture to production.
- Commitment to software quality, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while balancing technical excellence with product impact.
