Base Salary
$160k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship Android features for Strava's community and social surfaces.
- Partner with server engineers on shared implementations.
- Collaborate with PMs and designers to shape project scope and technical approaches.
- Contribute to code reviews and raise the technical bar on the team.
- Deliver medium-to-large scope projects accurately and on time.
- Mentor junior engineers as you grow your leadership presence.
Requirements
- Solid Android engineering fundamentals, including Kotlin and Jetpack.
- A product mindset with strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to assess technical trade-offs and advocate for user-centric solutions.
- Track record of delivering features end-to-end with ownership.
- Experience with social or community features is a plus.
- Prior experience at a company with a large-scale consumer Android app is a plus.
- Familiarity with Android performance optimization at scale is a plus.
