Responsibilities
- Design, manage, administer, and automate enterprise cloud infrastructure services and solutions.
- Engineer secure, scalable cloud solutions for new and migrated applications using the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows for software delivery and infrastructure deployment.
- Create and manage golden AMIs, patch management solutions, and infrastructure monitoring capabilities.
- Review cloud security controls and recommend improvements to security posture and compliance.
- Partner with technology teams on cloud transformation and Infrastructure as Code adoption.
- Implement cloud governance, auditing, compliance, monitoring, and operational capabilities.
- Identify operational risks and improve the availability, resilience, and fault tolerance of production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, IT systems administration, network operations, software development/support, consulting, architecture, or related technology disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience writing production-grade code.
- At least 3 years of experience automating infrastructure deployments using Terraform.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and delivering secure AWS cloud solutions in a multi-account environment.
- At least 3 years of experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud-native technologies, AWS networking and security services, and scalable cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, cloud security, compliance, governance, monitoring, and operational best practices.
- AWS and/or Azure certification.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, and technical communication skills.
