Responsibilities

  • Design and develop low-level embedded software, including drivers, secure communication stacks, cryptographic modules, and flash bootloaders.
  • Perform hardware bring-up and validation.
  • Lead architectural design efforts for scalable and robust software systems.
  • Conduct code reviews focused on low-level implementation, security, and clean coding practices.
  • Maintain and optimize the performance of the existing codebase.
  • Develop and integrate automotive diagnostics functionality within embedded systems.
  • Integrate software modules with attention to real-time capabilities and efficient resource management.
  • Ensure development follows ISO26262, ASPICE, and ISO21434 requirements.
  • Integrate software builds, deployment, and testing into the CI/CD tool landscape.

Requirements

  • University degree in software, robotics, electronics, or mechanical engineering, mathematics, or applied physics.
  • Proven experience managing complex software projects focused on low-level system development and architecture.
  • Hands-on C++11+ software engineering experience, including STL algorithms, containers, and unit testing.
  • Experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools in automotive embedded systems.
  • Deep experience with flash bootloaders, board bring-up, and assembly language.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application experience with security concepts and cryptographic algorithms.
  • Experience with electronics, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and reading schematics.
  • Experience with ISO26262, ASPICE, and ISO21434.
  • Familiarity with CAN, LIN, SPI, ISOSPI, Ethernet, J1939, or ODX communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers and tools including AURIX Tricore, TI Hercules, and NXP S32.
  • Strong English communication, collaboration, creativity, and interest in innovative electronic solutions for electric vehicles.
  • Ability to work onsite at the offices at least two to three times per week.
