Responsibilities
- Define technology roadmaps and engineering standards.
- Design, develop, and implement robust API services.
- Research and drive the adoption of new technologies.
- Analyze complex ecosystems to determine optimal approaches.
- Mentor and empower other engineers.
- Contribute to code reviews and technical designs.
- Identify and propose remediation for technical debt.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the application stack.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software development, particularly backend services.
- Deep knowledge of software design patterns and API design.
- Proven ability to influence technical direction in complex systems.
- Understanding of REST, service-based architecture, and distributed systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Java, SQL, and AWS.
- Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus.
- Demonstrable knowledge of using AI in engineering.
- Interest or experience in the financial industry or wealth management.
