Base Salary
$87k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
- Apply multi-tier architectures, AWS web services, microservice software design, and modern DevSecOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery practices.
- Support software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and five years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience developing object-oriented software using C++ and Java.
- Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance before the start date, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI without polygraph before starting.
- U.S. citizenship, because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Preferred experience with object-oriented analysis and design, Agile development, and Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Preferred experience in satellite ground system software areas such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.
