Base Salary
$142k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand business needs, constraints, and integration points.
- Translate requirements into architectural designs, diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure solutions follow architectural intent.
- Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and patterns for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership and code-level guidance during development when needed.
- Communicate architectural decisions and tradeoffs to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural standards, best practices, and governance.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience delivering scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
- Strong software engineering depth in TypeScript, Node, and React.
- Experience with CI/CD and automated testing patterns.
- Deep familiarity with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Knowledge of RealPage ecosystem integrations, Kafka and advanced messaging patterns, cloud networking, managed messaging and databases, infrastructure as code, compliance, or security hardening is a bonus.
