Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end for core authentication capabilities like login flows and MFA.
- Contribute to the extraction of authentication and authorization paths into microservices.
- Build and maintain shared SDKs for internal teams to adopt IAM services quickly.
- Collaborate with other teams to support org-scoped identity and multi-account SSO.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure robust account protection.
- Improve reliability and performance of IAM services through metrics and debugging.
- Define and refine standards for authentication and authorization across platform APIs.
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience building or operating web services or APIs with relational databases.
- Familiarity with authentication or authorization concepts like OAuth and SSO.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
