Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate production infrastructure on AWS.
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practices.
- Implement cloud governance and reporting standards.
- Design and operate cloud networking and edge access components.
- Enhance self-service platform offerings using AWS and IaC.
- Own and improve shared production tools like Rundeck and GitHub.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotation.
- Create and maintain documentation for platform services.
- Utilize AI-assisted design to explore new architectures.
- Participate in agile workflow and ceremonies.
Requirements
- Deep experience operating production workloads in cloud environments.
- Extensive background with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and a high-level programming language.
- Experience with container or VM orchestration platforms.
- Solid understanding of networking and security concepts.
- Familiarity with large-scale Java web application development.
