Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs and assist with designing application specifications.
- Develop and modify software to meet data-processing requests, insurance carrier requirements, and regulatory needs.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain business applications.
- Investigate support escalations and correct related data or software issues.
- Assist with testing other programmers’ projects and support the professional growth of programmers.
- Follow departmental development standards and maintain customer service quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science.
- Four to six years of relevant language development and/or business analytical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
- Experience interpreting user requirements and designing and developing business applications is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of language development and application design is required.
- Strong analytical, interpretive, organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, and teamwork skills are required.
