Base Salary
$177k - $266k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage, deploy, and maintain large scale distributed Ceph storage solutions.
- Ensure high availability and performance by providing troubleshooting and debugging support.
- Conduct performance tuning and continuously improve data integrity and reliability.
- Evolve processes and best practices to maximize performance and cost efficiency.
- Stay up to date with Ceph/Storage developments and consult architecture changes with the team.
- Analyze storage trends and participate in capacity planning.
Requirements
- Experience managing and administrating Ceph Storage, object and block.
- 5+ years of experience with Linux systems tooling and troubleshooting.
- First-hand experience with industry standard storage protocols.
- Strong Kubernetes skills.
- Proven ability to mentor Junior Members of the team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
