Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for AI/ML models, pipelines, and data flows.
- Author AI/ML safety regression tests and break-glass controls.
- Manage AI/ML and application vulnerabilities using security scanning and specialized AI security tools.
- Build and maintain automation pipelines for AI/ML security testing and monitoring.
- Partner with CISO functions, engineering, product, data, the AI COE, and other stakeholders to embed security into AI/ML development lifecycles.
- Support detection, triage, and remediation of AI/ML-specific security incidents.
- Facilitate secure development training focused on AI/ML risks and best practices.
- Track and report vulnerability status and AI/ML security metrics, including model robustness and data integrity.
- Maintain AI/ML security documentation, runbooks, dashboards, and reporting routines.
- Communicate complex AI/ML security topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in information security, including significant application security and AI/ML security experience.
- Hands-on experience securing AI/ML models, pipelines, and data within the AI/ML software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with adversarial attacks, model inversion, data poisoning, and other AI/ML security threats.
- Experience with AI/ML security tools such as Adversarial Robustness Toolbox.
- Mandatory scripting experience, with Python preferred; experience with AI/ML frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with threat modeling and AI/ML red teaming, including prompt injection, jailbreaking, adversarial attack simulations, and AI-system vulnerability assessments.
- Experience with vector databases, RAG frameworks, or MCP is preferred.
- Cloud certifications and experience in a regulated fintech environment are preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as AIRTP+, CAISF, Microsoft AI Security Fundamentals, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, GIAC, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Experience working directly with software developers and data scientists to improve code and model security.
