Responsibilities
- Develop complex state machines for high-voltage battery functionality.
- Develop drivers and modules for wired and wireless real-time data transfer.
- Manage cryptographic modules and secure communication.
- Develop bootloaders and low-level microcontroller peripheral drivers.
- Implement analog and digital signal processing and data transfer using CAN, LIN, SPI, Ethernet, and I2C.
- Integrate software at the operating-system level and ensure real-time capability across bare-metal and operating-system frameworks.
- Improve battery-management algorithms at the system level.
- Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262.
- Design software architecture for integration, validation, and mass production.
- Develop and improve the CI/CD toolchain and integrate software development, quality checks, work-product generation, and testing processes.
- Create necessary test cases and bring up customer batteries and vehicles.
Requirements
- Successfully completed a university degree in an engineering field.
- Ideally more than three years of software-engineering experience with C/C++.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers and applicable tools.
- Willingness to take responsibility and ownership of a project.
- Creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm for innovative electronics solutions for electric vehicles.
- Ability to work in teams and strong communication skills in English; German is favorable.
- Ability to work onsite in the Munich office at least two to three times per week.
