Responsibilities
- Analyze, define, build, test, and maintain software-centered information systems for Commodities analytics and grabbers applications.
- Design and implement automated functional and non-functional test scenarios.
- Write and maintain test scripts, follow test-driven design processes, and raise defects.
- Investigate test behavior, solve issues under guidance, and use risk categories to identify problems.
- Document testing clearly and contribute to test coverage across the test lifecycle.
- Support continuous testing by integrating automation frameworks with CI tools.
- Collaborate with the team, communicate updates, ask questions, and improve solutions through feedback.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Java.
- Technical understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns, and integration testing.
- Experience with source code management tools such as Git.
- Understanding of integrating automation frameworks with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle and test management tools such as Jira and Test Rail.
- Understanding of test planning, analysis, execution, and reporting.
- Understanding of BDD frameworks including Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Problem-solving and proactive issue management skills.
- ISTQB Foundation Certification.
- Exposure to log-based validation, backend validation, data comparison, or Python is desirable.
