Responsibilities
- Develop clean, maintainable, scalable software using the company’s technology stack.
- Build and deliver features end-to-end with engineering, product, design, and QA teams.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow code-quality practices.
- Contribute to deployment pipelines and maintain a reliable delivery process.
- Debug and resolve issues in production and staging environments.
- Maintain documentation for features, services, and technical decisions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in a full-stack role.
- Proficiency in Python with Flask or FastAPI and JavaScript ES6+.
- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue and with building and consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or relational databases and hands-on experience with RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with observability tools including ELK, Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic.
- Understanding of modular and scalable system design, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and distributed systems.
- Ability to implement unit and integration tests and follow TDD/BDD practices.
- Ability to debug moderately complex systems, optimize performance, and evaluate technical trade-offs.
- Familiarity with Celery, asynchronous task processing, Kubernetes, Airflow, frontend security practices, Agile/Scrum, and LLD/HLD documentation.
- B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.
- Must currently reside in Canada.
