Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug features and services supporting wealth and investment management workflows.
- Implement and maintain backend APIs and web UI components using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, SQL, and related technologies.
- Create and maintain unit, integration, and applicable UI automated tests, and perform targeted manual verification when needed.
- Participate in peer code reviews and improve software quality, readability, and maintainability based on feedback.
- Contribute estimates, status updates, risk identification, and other activities to the Agile delivery process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign education equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another technical field.
- 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript, with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and relational databases using SQL.
- Ability to deliver small- to medium-scoped work items with moderate supervision.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with peers.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
- Preferred qualifications include React, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, GitHub Copilot or agentic AI tools, C# and WinForms, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Temporal, and financial-services development for portfolio management or trading.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field is preferred.
