Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in cloud architecture and operational excellence.
- Stay current with industry trends and leverage AI technologies for efficiency.
- Design secure and reliable communication across multiple cloud providers.
- Configure and operate middleware services and related infrastructure.
- Evaluate and lead the adoption of CloudOps and DevOps tools.
- Troubleshoot complex production infrastructure and application issues.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering cloud architects in design discussions.
- Partner with Development, QA, and external providers to resolve issues.
- Design and evolve deployment automation platforms for microservices.
- Improve service availability and performance through automation.
- Analyze system performance and deliver actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- BS level technical degree required; Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in a CloudOps / DevOps role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or any public cloud (Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of Linux, security, and networking fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of container-based architecture and deployment.
- Experience with deployment automation development tools.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex application problems.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios and Grafana.
- Experience with cloud security and compliance implementation is a plus.
- Strong initiative to resolve issues and work within a distributed team.
