Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems supporting a fleet of SmartNICs.
- Build distributed deployment, monitoring, automation, and dashboard tooling across multiple regions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and monitor the fleet and associated services.
- Develop runbooks, alerting metrics, and operational tools to improve system availability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and lead cross-team incident resolution.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, code reviews, and direction to other software developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant functional area, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
- Strong Java development experience building highly available and scalable distributed cloud systems.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Development, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with production support, incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, deployment automation, and operational automation.
- Experience with Linux, Git, Maven, and Shell or Python scripting.
- Experience with distributed-system integrations, production change management, and code reviews.
- Ability to independently lead technical changes and cross-team incident resolution.
- Preferred experience with OCI, Kubernetes, containers, cloud-native operational tooling, logs, metrics, alerting, dashboards, and hardware or firmware integration.
