Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software for complex applications.
- Build, deploy, and support applications in production.
- Balance hands-on development with high-level design and architectural decisions.
- Develop full stack solutions using Python and front-end technologies including Angular and TypeScript.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases and large datasets.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including regular production deployments.
- Collaborate through pair programming, knowledge sharing, and team-based problem solving.
- Contribute to financial applications, greenfield projects, refactoring, performance improvements, and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience building and delivering software applications.
- Fluency in Python.
- Front-end development experience; Angular and TypeScript knowledge is a plus.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, programming concepts, and software architectures.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases and large datasets.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and frequent production deployments.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
- Experience working in Scrum or Agile environments with tools such as Jira.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to technical decisions.
