Responsibilities
- Build React microfrontends for the industrial IoT product.
- Co-develop APIs used by the user interface with the backend engineer.
- Use and contribute to the internal React-based design system.
- Own features end to end and help shape frontend architecture decisions.
- Improve the large frontend codebase consisting of multiple microfrontends.
- Build and iterate on interfaces with the UX designer.
- Work with integration and end-to-end test automation, CI pipelines, feature flags, and frequent deployments.
- Use structured AI-assisted engineering practices and learn technologies needed for new product capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong frontend or UI engineering experience with React.
- Experience working in a substantial TypeScript codebase.
- Knowledge of React and Redux.
- Experience with microfrontends.
- Experience with integration and end-to-end tests.
- Experience using feature flags to ship work frequently.
- API development experience, preferably with Go, TypeScript, or Java.
- Preferred experience with design systems, styled-components, and SWC.
- Willingness to learn IoT, event-driven architecture, PostgreSQL, message queues, data pipelines, Sparkplug B, and observability.
- Experience with structured AI-assisted engineering beyond prompting.
- Working proficiency in English.
