Responsibilities
- Own product features from discovery and technical design through implementation, rollout, and iteration.
- Drive technical decisions with Product, Design, and Backend while balancing user experience, performance, security, and delivery speed.
- Improve Android architecture, performance, reliability, maintainability, and test strategy.
- Solve complex mobile challenges involving real-time synchronization, resilience patterns, smooth navigation, and a large modular codebase.
- Lead code reviews and technical discussions, share engineering patterns, and mentor peers.
Requirements
- Strong native Android experience shipping and maintaining production features with Kotlin.
- Ability to own technical decisions end-to-end and work effectively through ambiguity and complex constraints.
- Experience or commitment to unit, UI, and snapshot testing, clean code, and pragmatic engineering standards.
- Daily use of AI coding tools to improve engineering output.
- Fluent English communication and a collaborative approach to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
