Base Salary
$170k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ensure the behavior of autonomous vehicles is safe, smooth, and predictable.
- Handle complex driving situations involving social aspects like merging and negotiating narrow roads.
- Frame real-world problems into well-defined engineering challenges.
- Develop tools, algorithms, and evaluation mechanisms for vehicle behavior.
- Scale solutions to handle large data pipelines and optimize for real-time performance.
Requirements
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field.
- General software engineering experience with C++ programming.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within and across teams.
- Experience with integrating or developing machine learning-based systems is a plus.
- Experience solving motion planning or related robotics problems is preferred.
