Base Salary
$97k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain embedded, real-time control software for advanced tactical radio and fielded communication systems.
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including design, documentation, implementation, automated testing, peer reviews, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate on hardware/software interfaces, system requirements, reliability, performance, and compliance.
- Develop test procedures, analyze results using modeling and test tools, and maintain technical documentation.
- Address security findings and implement system improvements; occasional travel may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of related experience, graduate degree with 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with Python, Java, C, or C++.
- Experience programming in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting.
- Experience with unit and integration testing, software design concepts, code reviews, and debugging.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Secret or TS-SCI clearance or ability to obtain one, CI/CD pipeline development, Docker deployments, FPGA systems, TypeScript, hardware-interfacing software, and test automation experience.
