Base Salary
$170k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale infrastructure using repeatable patterns for safe rollouts.
- Define service health metrics and lead incident response.
- Champion least-privilege defaults and improve access hygiene.
- Build actionable dashboards and alarms for system observability.
- Enhance release safety through progressive delivery.
- Optimize CI/CD workflows to boost developer velocity.
- Incorporate a status update path for customer communications.
- Lead foundational projects as analytics and workloads grow.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong foundations in software engineering and clean code practices.
- Experience building, deploying, and operating production systems.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP, Terraform/Pulumi, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with observability tools like CloudWatch and Sentry.
- Comfortable in the ambiguity of an early-stage startup.
