Base Salary
$178k - $313k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and support features for Snapchat’s AR engine and Lens Studio across Snapchat and Specs.
- Build, integrate, and improve agentic development workflows and tooling.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners.
- Improve code quality, reliability, performance, maintainability, testing, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- Strong computer science fundamentals, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and engineering judgment.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and modern C++ development.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
- Understanding of AI systems and agentic workflows.
- A BS in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience, or a relevant technical master’s degree or PhD.
- At least 6 years of post-bachelor’s software development experience, or 3 years of post-graduate software development experience with a master’s degree.
- Preferred experience with agentic systems, multi-agent systems, agent harness engineering, context engineering, AI-enabled production workflows, 3D engines, build systems, developer infrastructure, Qt, ImGui, JavaScript engines, embedded runtimes, or large codebases.
