Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cryptographic systems using Rust, formal verification, PKI, and distributed systems.
- Own multi-quarter software initiatives from design through deployment.
- Drive technical decisions and architectural direction across multiple teams and AWS service organizations.
- Conduct code reviews, debug complex issues across systems, and contribute to operational excellence and engineering standards.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Lead technical discussions, build consensus, and influence security architecture choices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
