Responsibilities
- Define target architecture across mobile experiences, UI infrastructure, and backend services.
- Lead the design of reusable UI infrastructure, components, and foundational capabilities.
- Establish integration patterns and strong contracts between mobile clients and backend services.
- Guide engineers and IC leads across teams through architectural decisions, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Design scalable systems that support local market variations while preserving shared foundations.
- Drive long-term architectural solutions and remain hands-on with technical reviews, prototypes, coding, and complex problem-solving.
- Mentor engineers, communicate clearly, and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Staff-level Software Engineer or equivalent technical leader.
- Strong experience across both mobile engineering and backend services, covering user experiences, APIs, and platform infrastructure.
- Experience defining architecture and technical direction across multiple teams or domains.
- Strong understanding of reusable UI infrastructure, component-based development, platform capabilities, and reducing duplicated implementations.
- Experience designing scalable and configurable systems for local variations across markets or products.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, and influence skills, including the ability to mentor engineers and align stakeholders.
- Hands-on mindset and comfort working in ambiguous, evolving environments.
- Strong written and verbal English.
- Experience in fintech, collections, regulated domains, or international and multi-market products is preferred but not required.
