Responsibilities
- Develop, test, evolve, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Translate technical and business requirements into software solutions.
- Write clean, secure, sustainable, and testable code.
- Participate in architecture and technical-design discussions and code reviews.
- Develop unit tests and integration tests.
- Investigate defects, production incidents, performance issues, and integration problems.
- Support CI/CD, deployment, release, and production-support activities.
- Contribute to application modernization, cloud adoption, and technical-debt reduction initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with architecture, QA, DevOps, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business and product stakeholders.
Requirements
- Solid backend development experience with Java.
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Git, Maven, and/or Gradle.
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with enterprise applications and critical systems.
- Advanced English communication skills for a global environment.
- Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, DevSecOps, observability, application modernization, or financial-services environments is preferred.
- Java, cloud, or Agile certifications are preferred.
