Base Salary
$129k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable systems that automate network configuration deployment and validation across Amazon Fulfillment Centers.
- Develop full-stack automation solutions spanning frontend interfaces and backend systems for safe infrastructure changes.
- Architect configuration drift detection and remediation frameworks using infrastructure-as-code fundamentals.
- Own end-to-end project delivery, including proprietary tools, collaboration, code reviews, and operational readiness reviews.
- Review operational metrics and alerts, troubleshoot configuration issues, and improve automation tools.
- Create documentation and runbooks and coach newer team members on architecture and operational practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of programming experience with a modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- At least 3 years of systems development experience.
- At least 3 years of leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
- Knowledge of operating system concepts and Linux/Unix systems administration, including platforms such as Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, and Solaris.
- Strong knowledge of distributed system design, operating systems, storage, or network administration.
- Preferred qualifications include distributed systems at scale, full software development life cycle experience, AWS or cloud technologies, and large-scale distributed systems or web services experience.
